Have you ever tried using graphite sticks for drawing? Well it’s great!
I wanted to produce some simple graphite portraits for a local art event that I am participating in, but when thinking about the framing costs so I could exhibit them totally forgot that to keep costs down I would need to frame in standard frames. Of course to do this you need to consider this at the outset when planning your drawing – which obviously I didn’t! This video shows how I extended the drawing to fit the mount, and the techniques I used to complete the piece.
