Original Painting In Mixed Media I absolutely love my new original painting. Hope you love it too! I created this original artwork with indian ink and pastel on a lovely sanded paper. The initial underpainting was completed in a watercolour consistency of ink, followed by further layers of stronger pigment. My aim was to obtain the textures on not only the subject matter but the wall itself, so sanded paper was a perfect choice. The sanded paper I use is white Pastelmat.
