This is the first opportunity I have had in a while to post some completed artwork on my blog.  There are periods in life when you just don’t get to do everything you love all of the time, and unfortunately the last six months has been one of those periods.

This is my first mixed media piece using watercolour and coloured pencils.  The leaves are painted with wet into wet watercolour, and the grapes following a watercolour under painting are finished with oil based coloured pencils blended with a colourless blender.  The bloom on the grapes was made using watercolour pencils over the top of the oil based pencils.
