Together is another of my white on black series of paintings using coloured pencils.  I have used the same brands of pencils as I used for both ‘Little Lottie’ & ‘Nellie’ paintings which you can see on my website.  White on black drawings are relatively quick to complete compared to using coloured pencils on white paper in the conventional way and a perfect medium to use for wildlife art when depicting fur and texture.  For those of you who are thinking about taking up coloured pencils, this is an ideal way to get started as you don’t need to think about colour.  Concentrating on tone in either white coloured pencil on black paper or using a graphite pencil on white paper is a great way to get to know your subject before embarking on a full colour piece of the work.  Together is now available to view and purchase from my website .
